Emile Smith Rowe extended the lead for Fulham in the 22nd minute via a fine threaded pass from Nigerian International, Alex Iwobi. Smith Rowe’s shot hit the hand of Nick Pope before it went over the line. Smith Rowe has been in form for Fulham despite suffering a couple of injuries.

Smith Rowe revealed in an interview after the game on his injury crisis. “I’m really confident at the moment and comfortable with everything. I’ve got to keep going and keep working hard,” he said. “Everyone knows it has been a tough couple of seasons for me. I have to stay fit, and I feel good at the moment.”
