Arsenal Beats Tottenham Without Odegaard And Declan Rice In The North London Derby Through A Fine Header From Brazilian International, Gabriel.

A defensive masterclass from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal as they beat Tottenham in the North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. The horrible goals conceded from corners for Ange Postecoglou continues when Gabriel headed the fine corner from Bukayo Saka.

A cross from Bukayo Saka which found the free header of Gabriel secured the win for the gunners as they head to Champions League mood. Arsenal were without Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard. Declan Rice was on suspension, whereas Odegaard suffered an injury during the international break.

Arsenal defended very deep in the game and attacked through counters. This similar formation was seen against Manchester City last season as they won 1-0. New signing, Dominic Solanke, failed to give Tottenham the lead after he missed an early chance. David Raya also saved a clear chance from Dejan Kulusevski.

Jurrien Timber was sensational today with some brilliant runs and key passes as Ben White was at a point lost in the game. He made some errors with displaced passes to the opposition team.

Arsenal are now two points behind titleholder, Manchester City. Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham sits at the 13th position after their loss to the gunners. Tottenham will travel to Coventry on Wednesday in the League Cup and will later host Brentford at home on Saturday.

Arsenal will travel to Atalanta to play their first Champions League game of the season against the Europa League winners on Thursday night. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal plays Manchester City next on Sunday. Mikel Arteta will be aiming to grab the 3 points against Atalanta and hopefully grab the win again against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
