The handover took place on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. It was attended by significant figures such as Togbe Afede XIV, board member Vincent Sowah Odotei, and Ghana Tourism Authority CEO Akwasi Agyemang.

Togbe Afede XIV expressed delight in the club’s new asset, saying it demonstrates their dedication to establishing an infrastructure for Accra Hearts of Oak. Togbe Afede XIV, the Executive Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, has stated that his club is devoted to developing an excellent club in Africa, with a primary focus on making a difference in communities.

According to him, this ideal can only be realized with substantial infrastructure investment, which is why they are committed to developing the Phobia House, a three-story edifice that will fully utilize and benefit from the economic value of the Hearts of Oak brand.

He highlighted on some key points at the handover ceremony for the newly completed Phobia House in Adabraka, where he thanked the building contractor, Rema-Alma Company Limited, for “the quality they have delivered and the timeliness of the job, which have all met our expectations.” “As I have always said, we have a vision to build a club that assumes prominence in African football while serving the community, while impacting the community, and while making a difference in the lives of our people.” “We acknowledge that we cannot do that unless we invest in infrastructure, and this is a demonstration of our commitment to building a solid infrastructure-based Accra Hearts of Oak,” stated the leader.
